About Madeleine
Yoga found me in my teenage years, first as a path to healing my body, then as a refuge for my heart and mind. It carried me through recovery, through the weight of anxiety and depression, teaching me the quiet strength of breath and movement.
In 2020, I completed my 200hr Teaching Training and since then I’ve woven yoga into the fabric of my life - Teaching in studios and community spaces across the Sunshine Coast and the Illawarra. My journey led me deeper into the art of pranayama, creative sequencing, and the profound wisdom of pre & postnatal yoga, including pelvic floor anatomy, and physiology for women’s health.
But it was the birth of my own child that reshaped everything. It softened the edges of what I thought I knew, deepened my understanding of the body’s quiet intelligence and shifted my teaching from discipline to devotion. This is where Gentle Movement was born - A space where yoga is not about perfection but about presence, where strength and surrender walk hand in hand.
My passion is to hold space for women as they move through the shifting seasons of motherhood, to help them listen, trust and move in a way that feels like coming home.
